VISION
KATAKUS envisions a society where women and men decide and act collectively in building empowered communities and in working for the sustainability of the environment amidst the pressures of a globalize economy.

MISSION
KATAKUS is a non-profit organization that promotes the practice of sustainable agriculture with gender perspective among subsistence farming communities in Region XI for the improvement of their food security and livelihood and the enhancement of the environment.

GOALS
      To enhance food security through their conversion from monoculture to diversified and integrated farming systems;

      To conserve and sustainably use indigenous resources through the development and innovative use of appropriate technologies;

      To increase household income through collective and individual on-farm and off-farm enterprises;

      To facilitate the marketing of community products

      To build and strengthen women’s leadership and their community organizations; and

      To forge partnerships with and access resources from government and non-government organizations
